November '04:
I'm rereading a bunch of David Weber's Honor Harrington Novels
[see compulsive reads] Many of them
for at least the 3rd time. What fun! I love the characters.
Honor Harrington is a very cool character. A strong female lead
with integrity, strength and an unbeatable moral code. Hard to
believe that such a great character is written by a man. Or is it?
[ a little gender stereotyping , john?] I've been thinking a lot
about some of the characters and the Grayson's as a people, just
intrigue me. I love the books where they playa major role.
I sure would like to see a book with more of their culture
explored. If I had any talent I could come up with a few
good short stories to add to the lore of Yeltsin's Star. <sigh>
I'll just have to imagine it... |
